Goodbye Arizona

Well, it's been a crazy couple of weeks (or months rather) to say the least! I have movers all around, and have just been asked to power down for packing... Just a quick note to let all of you Arizonans know that you will forever be in our hearts! I love you all and will miss you terribly! See you on the other side.. goodbye for now!:(

Arizona

I made Brandon promise that if he were to take me away from Arizona, that we would get pictures of all of us in the desert first! Nathan Mayo took these and did a GREAT job!!! (Thanks again Nathan!!!) :) I sure am going to miss this place - whoever said the desert isn't BEAUTIFUL?!

It has been a wonderful 3 1/2 years, filled with babies, a first home and unforgettable friends! We'll miss you all as we move on to Michigan, but you'll never be forgotten!!!:)

Ramblings

Landon reached his 6-month marker yesterday! I used to roll my eyes when people would say "time only speeds up as you get older"... now, I'm one of the ones making teenagers roll their eyes!!! Seriously though, look at this big man! Wasn't I pregnant yesterday?!

And then there's Hunter!:) He'll be two on August 1st! If you're ever having a bad day and need a rollie-pollie little flirt to butter you up and make you smile, this is your man!:) Isn't he handsome? My little mini-Brandon! He always knows how to put a smile on my face!:)

Bailey on the other hand, may not look like me, but she has some of my "I can do it (or I'll die trying)" stubbornness about her!:P She sure is a sweetheart and really coming into her own lately. She knows every word to "High School Musical".. both the songs AND the dialogue! I am trying to put that memorizing talent to good use, and so far she has the first 3 articles of faith down pat!:) Maybe she'll have all 13 done by the time she gets to Sunbeams... hmmm ;)

I hate to blow my own horn here, but I've just been feeling so blessed lately! I truly have been trusted with three incredible children, and an amazing husband as well! The move to Michigan is starting to sink in, and I'm not going to lie... I am scared to start from scratch again! I am going to miss all of my great friends and memories here in sunny Arizona!!! Heck, I'll even miss this tiny house! I am so thankful that I don't have to make the move alone.. I know that my family will keep me laughing and going strong the whole way (all 2,000 miles)!!! ;) For now, I'm just going to try to enjoy my last 2 1/2 weeks left here! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Arizona?!?! :)

Easter Weekend

What a fun weekend we had! Brandon arrived late Thursday evening, and our Easter festivities began Friday morning when our chicken eggs started to hatch!:) We colored eggs, had an egg hunt, and most of all, just had a GREAT time together as a family! It's always great when daddy's home!!!:) Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend as well - enjoy the pictures!

For the past 3 weeks in preschool, the kids have been waiting ever so patiently for our chicken eggs to hatch! Friday morning the festivities began - too bad it wasn't on a preschool day (though the excitement exuding from my kids was equal to what a whole room full of preschoolers!). So far we have 6 baby chicks!!!:) 1 never made it out, and 5 more are still in the incubator... they are pretty fun! Here are some videos - I couldn't pick just one, and trust me I have MANY more!:P

Spring Break

In order to bring a little variety to our routine, the kids and I traveled to Utah for Spring Break. We left right after preschool last Thursday and stayed the night (and the next day) in Mesquite, NV with Brandon's dad and step mom Evelyn. The kids LOVED all the extra attention! Sadly, Hunter passed on the stomach flu to Grandpa... I was up for hours in the middle of the night scrubbing puke off of Hunter and our porta-crib (note to self: next time, toss the stupid thing and buy a new one... SOOOO nasty)!:P

Saturday morning we were off to Alpine, UT. We bounced back and forth between my moms' and Brandon's, spreading the virus and having a grand ole time! Although Hunter was ridiculously ill the ENTIRE week, it was nice to have family around to help.. THANKS AGAIN MOM!!!:) All in all, it was a great week, and I am quite impressed that we made it back in one day AND in one piece!:) I hope everyone is feeling better... did I mention how sorry I am?! I think I'm the only one who didn't catch the Hunter bug.. ahhh the irony!:P

Spring Break

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Draper temple open house with the kids while in Utah this past week. Bailey was SO excited and we had an amazing time - the only thing that could have made it better was to have Brandon there with us!

One can only guess how this happened.. who knew nap time would turn into Bailey's first cliff hanging simulator?? And by her jean skirt too - impressive!
